Hi!

My name is Kyla Heumann, and I am very excited to introduce myself as Skintek’s newest esthetician. I have been interested in skin ever since late in the 90’s when I first started seeing Ika for my own skin issues. Like many teenagers I suffered from acne, but thanks to Ika and Skintek products I have enjoyed a clear complexion ever since. I always looked forward to my visits with Ika, not just for the treatments, but also to talk about skin and further feed my fascination. Although I always said that I wanted to do what Ika did, my being licensed to practice skin care was long in the making.

In the spring of 2006, after six years as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado and having exhausted just about every major the Arts and Sciences department had to offer, I finally graduated with a BA in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. While having a college degree was of great importance to me, the only subject that consistently kept my interest over the years was skin. And so, finally free to pursue my true passion, I spent all of last fall and winter working towards my esthetician’s license and am now thrilled to be working for the one company to which I am truly devoted.

How fortunate I feel to be working and learning with Ika – the lady who not only inspired me, but whose guidance I trust with all confidence.
